Surface-mounted switch made of Bakelite.

Surface mounting of electrical cables and switches is of course by far the most economical and therefore the type of installation still commonly used in workshops. It saves the need to cut and break open walls and allows for easy inspection, repair and extension of the system and its cable network. It is also suitable wherever the installation should or must be carried out on the wall for structural reasons (listed building, wooden beams, concrete, etc.) - regardless of whether the cables are also on the plaster or inside the wall. Two small drill holes are sufficient for a secure fit. Formally based on the classics of the genre, all parts of our surface-mounted series technically comply with today's standards and safety regulations. The stable, 2.5 mm thick housings made of black Bakelite are pressed in one piece and ensure sufficient protection of the electrical system underneath. Side breakouts allow cables to be inserted. The back of the housing is open. For the mechanics, we use the same tried and tested components as for the other switch series. Here too, the spring mechanism of the ceramic switch ensures a uniform and material-friendly switch contact.
