Porcelain. Bright white and indestructible.

This range of switches is made of the material that has accompanied electrification from the very beginning: porcelain. This was not done for aesthetic reasons, but for functional reasons: porcelain is resistant to breakdown and tracking currents, resistant to aging and extremely hard; it can withstand fire and heat without damage. The high-quality quartz porcelain (C 110) used here complies with the standard for material properties according to DIN VDE 0335, Part 3.
